Lisbon's Riviera

Only just over 30 minutes from Lisbon along the coast of Estoril, the Riviera of Lisbon, we find the smaller cities of Estoril and the old fishing village of Cascais. Since long though their characteristics could rather be attributed to sun, sea, beaches, golf, retro-glamour and relaxation.

Here small charming bed & breakfasts share the space with bigger traditionally fashionable Hotels but also modern ones that offers complete facilities for both relaxation, leisure, conferences and events. Generally, there are here many very elegant, special and great accommodations. The area still feels genuine and have a peculiar charm and the surrounding coast with its big waves and favourable weather conditions attracts surfers from all over the world. An unforgettable experience is to with the Atlantic Ocean in front of you in sun shine or sundown enjoy fresh delights from the sea with an unbeatable view from a privileged spot up among the rocks. Within comfortable reach by bus there also attractions and sights such as: the big city pulse in Lisbon, Cabo da Roca – mainland Europe most western spot and a 140 meter high cliff, great wine producers, the “obligatory” visit to Sintra with its mystery and fairy tale like palaces or why not superb golf courses. Take a boat trip and enjoy a lunch at sea to after challenge yourself with refreshing water activities.

Cascais and Estoril are exemplary destinations for a group that wants to keep together and have a luxury and relaxed but affordable experience without for that matter getting bored. Don´t miss out to put your luck at the test at the well-known and classical Casino in Estoril. A curiosity is that Ian Flemming here found inspiration and wrote the James Bond book Casino Royal.
